These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DoubleDive mobile application and website at doubledive.ai (the "Service"), operated by DoubleDive ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use DoubleDive. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@doubledive.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits or other restrictions.

Every user receives a set number of free credits per day to scan and solve problems. Credits reset at midnight UTC. Unused credits do not roll over.
Additional credits and a Pro subscription are available for purchase. All purchases are processed through the relevant platform (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web payment provider). Prices are displayed at the point of purchase and may vary by region.
Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your platform's subscription management settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused subscription time except where required by law.
Referring a new user grants both parties a promotional benefit as described in the app. Referral benefits are limited to one per device. We reserve the right to revoke referral benefits if abuse is detected.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by DoubleDive and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content you submit (problem photos, notebook entries, canvas drawings) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to provide the Service to you.
DoubleDive uses AI to generate hints, explanations, and feedback. AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect. You should use your own judgement when evaluating AI responses and not rely solely on them for important academic or professional decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoubleDive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
